New NFL kickoff rule in super basic terms

All players line up on one end of the field instead of the entire field.

Shorter kick, one on one defense/offense to protect the receiver.

Goal is to protect the receiver from being pummeled after catching the ball.

So, what happens if the receiver gets through…….. looks like a TD to me.
